Make the Call: Veto 'Right-to-Work'

by Guest Blogger | December 11, 2012 12:00 am

I’ve watched our members and supporters fill the Capitol with singing, chanting, and people power.

We need to put the pressure on Governor Snyder now to veto so-called ‘Right-to-Work’ bills.

Like President Obama said in Michigan yesterday, these bills mean a right to work…for less money.  Don’t be fooled– the politicians who want to step on union workers aren’t going to stop there.  They want cheap labor with no rules, and an economy that only helps those who already have the most.

Thousands of workers and supporters are in Lansing right now, demanding a different future for Michigan.

If you can’t be there, make a call.

Call Governor Snyder and tell him to VETO right-to-work legislation at 517-373-3400
