Looking back at 2024, building community

Introduction

As the year winds down and we look forward to a well-earned winter break, we invite you to take a look back at what we accomplished together in 2024, despite formidable challenges. Our end-of-year video message reminds us that we built connections among different communities across the country, mobilizing people to engage in our democracy and fight for family-supporting policies.

In 2025, we will remain focused on our vision of an inclusive society where everyone can flourish. Messages of fear and hate are not a long-term foundation for a thriving society. We know what a thriving society needs—it’s in our name: Community.

Through community organizing and collective action, we are building the power necessary to block the worst excesses of the incoming administration and build a strong, multi-racial democracy.

We wish you a peaceful holiday season filled with the love and support of friends and family. And we look forward to working with you with renewed determination in the new year!
