Green Jobs

by Community Change | September 5, 2017 1:30 am

The Green Jobs campaign works to promote high-quality, inclusive and accessible green jobs that pay good wages, and offer comprehensive benefits, training, and advancement opportunities, especially in divested neighborhoods.

Creating a green jobs economy will allow the US to: make local public and private investments to mitigate the climate crisis and work toward a clean energy future, create millions of 21st-century jobs and promote new worker skills, and address the environmental issues that have relegated disenfranchised communities to drinking contaminated water, breathing hazardous air, and suffering under crop-killing blight and public health challenges.
